Vincent J. Glorioso, Jr. began his legal career at Fort Rucker, Alabama as a First Lieutenant in the United States Army, Judge Advocate General's Corp (JAG) in 1966. After being promoted to Captain, he had the honor of being selected as Fort Rucker's first Military Judge, Special Court Martial in 1968. As the Military Judge at Fort Rucker, he was privileged to serve as head legal counsel for the Commanding General on post.
Mr. Glorioso is an attorney with over 36 years experience as a trial lawyer. His main concentration is on personal injury and wrongful death claims, with an emphasis on major automobile accident cases, Jones act, admiralty and offshore drilling and exploration cases. He also handles product liability, medical malpractice, failing to have adequate security and workplace related casualties.
He was an adjunct professor of law at the Loyola School of Law, on the faculty of the Tulane School of Law Trial Advocacy Program, and a member of the faculty of the National College of Advocacy at Hastings School of Law, San Francisco, California. He chaired the NCA Advance College on proof of damages at Hastings College of Law. This was NCA's inaugural course designed to lead to a L.L.M. in Trial Advocacy. He has previously taught similar courses at Yale University, Stanford University, and the National Judicial College at Reno, Nevada. Mr. Glorioso has been a lecturer of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association, Louisiana State Bar Association CLE, Tulane University Law School, CLE, Loyola School of Law CLE programs and various state TLA programs including Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, West Virginia, Delaware, Florida, and others.
He is a past president of the Southern Trial Lawyers Association. He had served on the President's Advisory Committee of the Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association since its inception, as well as on its Board of Governors. He is also the co-author of Trial Advocacy in Louisiana, National Business Institute (NBI). He co-chaired ABOTA Masters in Trial-Trial Advocacy Program. ABOTA (American Board of Trial Advocates) is a nationwide, by invitation only, organization of both plaintiff and defendant trial attorneys. He also held leadership positions in the American Bar Association's Section of Tort and Insurance Practice (TIPS) including, Post-Vice Chair of the Admiralty and Economics of Torts and Insurance Law Practice Committees and Post-Chair of the Trial Technique's Committee.
