Infinia at Camp Verde Nursing Home Inspection Deficiencies Results
No one likes to see nursing home abuse or neglect. The following information has been gathered from inspection results reported by the CMS.
Inspectors determinated that the nursing home failed to:
1. 1) Hire only people who have no legal history of abusing, neglecting or mistreating residents; or 2) report and investigate any acts or reports of abuse, neglect or mistreatment of residents.(01/21/2005)
2. Keep each resident free from physical restraints, unless needed for medical treatment.(01/21/2005)
3. Give the right treatment and services to residents who have mental or social problems adjusting. (01/21/2005)
4. Make sure that residents who cannot care for themselves receive help with eating/drinking, grooming and hygiene. (01/21/2005)
5. Make sure all assessments are accurate, coordinated by an RN, done by the right professional, and are signed by the person completing them.(01/21/2005)
6. 1) Make sure that residents who take drugs are not given too many doses or for too long; 2) make sure that the use of drugs is carefully watched; or 3) stop or change drugs that cause unwanted effects.(01/21/2005)
7. Keep signed and dated reports of x-rays and other tests.(01/21/2005)
