Ascentis Corporation has been named to Deloitte's prestigious Technology Fast 50 Program for Washington State for the third year in a row.
Bellevue, WA (PRWEB) October 18, 2005 -- Ascentis Corporation has been named to Deloitte's prestigious Technology Fast 50 Program for Washington State, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the area by Deloitte & Touche LLP, one of the nation's leading professional services organizations. Rankings are based on the percentage revenue growth during a five year span from 20002004.
Ascentis' CEO Charles D'Ambrosia credits a solid product and Ascentis' partners with the company's 207% percent revenue growth from 20002004. He says, "Ascentis has developed a partner program that allows our reseller, benefits, and payroll partners to easily incorporate the concept of HR technology into their business plan. This is the third year in row Ascentis has been named to the Technology Fast 50 Program for Washington State and I thank our partners for this continued growth."
Ascentis' increase in revenues of 207 percent from 2000 to 2004 resulted in a high ranking (number 25 on the list) in the Technology Fast 50 for Washington State. The average increase in revenues among companies who made the Technology Fast 50 for this region was 70 percent.
To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2000 and $1,000,000 in 2004, be headquartered in Washington, and be a "technology company," defined as a company that owns proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies' technology in a unique way does not qualify.
"To rank on Deloitte's Technology Fast 50, companies must have phenomenal revenue growth during a five year period," said Larry Hile, a partner in Deloittes Seattle office. Ascentis has proven to be one of the fast-growth success stories in Washington State, and we applaud their dedication to making their vision reality."
Winners of the 15 regional Technology Fast 50 programs in the United States and Canada are automatically entered in Deloittes Technology Fast 500 program, which ranks North Americas top 500 fastest growing technology companies.
